President Donald Trump on Tuesday said the midterm results will be “better than you think” for Republicans and asserted that the economy is performing well.
Speaking to “Fox and Friends” in a morning appearance, Trump said “inflation is solved” and suggested that oil prices have been coming down.
Later in the interview, Trump touted his record on taxes, including provisions to eliminate taxes on overtime and tips, as well as his economic policies including tariffs to try to bring manufacturing back to the United States.
He also touted his administration’s immigration enforcement, including efforts to deport criminal illegal immigrants, and efforts to lower the national crime rate….
