US Military Says It Intercepted Iranian Missiles Launched Toward Regional Nations, Conducted Strikes

The U.S. military said on Tuesday that its forces intercepted multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drone attacks launched toward regional nations in the Middle East.
In a statement, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Iran launched ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain on June 2, but none of them reached their intended targets.
“Two Iranian missiles fired at Kuwait fell short or broke apart enroute, and three missiles launched at Bahrain were immediately intercepted by U.S. and Bahrain air defense forces,” it stated.
CENTCOM said Iran also launched three attack drones toward civilian mariners that were transiting in regional waters, which were later shot down by U.S. forces….
