Authorities in Northern Virginia are investigating a shooting that left the wife of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy hospitalized with serious injuries, allegedly at the hands of their son.
According to a statement from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Elijah Zion Bieniemy, 27, was arrested and charged on July 26 with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharge of a firearm inside of a dwelling.
Over the weekend, Loudoun deputies responded to the family residence in Ashburn, Virginia, at approximately 7:32 p.m., after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, first responders located a woman, later identified as Mia Bieniemy, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and remains in stable condition….
