President Donald Trump on Thursday said he is considering an attack in the near future on Iran that would be larger than Operation Epic Fury, the campaign that started Feb. 28 and ended in April.
“I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than ever before. I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it,” the president told Axios.
The Israeli military “would join in two minutes if I ask them to,” Trump said, adding that the United States doesn’t “need anybody” to carry out a new operation against Tehran.
The president did not offer more details, including when or what targets the U.S. military could strike or if American soldiers would be deployed to the country….
