DALLAS—Republicans concluded their unprecedented midterm convention on Sept. 10 after President Donald Trump and a series of other politicians attempted to galvanize voters ahead of Election Day.
The two-day event showed Republicans promoting the party’s agenda as well as targeting Democratic positions on the economy, gender, and other issues. One of the main lines of attack from Republicans was that Democratic policies would advance socialism in the United States.
Besides remarks from Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and major congressional candidates, a surprise recorded address came from Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, who similarly denounced socialism.
