WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump is set to host Chinese leader Xi Jinping at the White House on Sept. 24 and 25 for a high-stakes summit.
The White House announced the official summit schedule Friday evening.
On Sept. 23, Trump will welcome Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan at Joint Base Andrews, where they will attend an arrival ceremony, White House spokesperson Anna Kelly told reporters during a call.
On Sept. 24, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will host Xi and his wife for an arrival ceremony on the State Floor of the White House, followed by a military review in the Rose Garden and a bilateral meeting. …
